What to Expect

Welcome to the Senate | Informational Video

Senator Phillips-Hill encourages that each participating student submit an idea for legislation that they believe should be a law in Pennsylvania.  The idea should be presented in a brief essay outlining the idea, including an argument for why it should be enacted into law.

Essays should be emailed to hengle@pasen.gov or mailed to Senator Phillips-Hill’s Capitol Office no later than October 9, 2023, and addressed as follows:

Senator Phillips-Hill will review all submission and select a winner, who will be recognized on the day of the event.
