Honored to attend the Liberty Tree Project event, presented by @america250_pa and the Pennsylvania Freemasons! As part of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration, 67 Liberty Trees—one for each county—are being planted across the commonwealth.
This tree is a direct descendent of the last living tree where the Sons of Liberty met during the American Revolution, planting the seeds of independence. It’s only fitting that we gathered at the York Colonial Courthouse, a site rich with revolutionary history, to reflect on the past and plant seeds of inspiration for the next 250 years.

We joined Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Steve Smith and commission staff to stock pheasants on State Game Lands 83, in the Brogue, in advance of Pennsylvania’s 2024 Junior Pheasant Season, which starts today and runs from Oct. 12-19.
This is a special opportunity for all junior hunters (and mentored hunters of any age) to gain hunting experience. By law, all junior hunters must be accompanied.
All hunters must also possess a pheasant hunting permit, which is FREE to all junior and mentored hunters. Permits are available online at https://huntfish.pa.gov/ or at any in-store licensing agent.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission has stocked more than 15,000 pheasants in advance of the 2024 Junior Pheasant Season across the state, including more than 200 in York County!
The 2024 statewide pheasant season opens on Saturday, Oct. 26. Visit https://www.pgc.pa.gov/Pages/default.aspx for all details about pheasant hunting.

It was an honor to reflect on Rabbi Melody Davis’ powerful words today and remember the victims of the October 7 terrorist attack. May we never forget their lives, and may we all work together to bring the hostages home safely to their loved ones.
As Americans, we must also remain committed to protecting the right to worship freely, without fear of prejudice, persecution or death.
