Shredding Event Scheduled for Saturday Canceled

YORK – Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) announced today that the community shredding and drug take-back event originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Pennsylvania State Police York Barracks has been canceled.

Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill expressed understanding and gratitude for the hardworking men and women of the Pennsylvania State Police, who are focused on protecting and serving our communities.

“Our officers put service above self every single day,” Phillips-Hill said. “While we are disappointed to cancel this event, we fully support the State Police as they dedicate their time and resources to keeping our community safe. We are grateful for their tireless commitment.”

Constituents are encouraged to monitor future announcements for rescheduled opportunities to safely dispose of unwanted prescription drugs and securely shred personal documents.
