Phillips-Hill Announces 2025-26 Committee Assignments to Advance Southern York County Priorities

HARRISBURG – Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) announced her committee assignments for the 2025-26 legislative session, highlighting her focus on advancing key priorities for the hardworking taxpayers of southern York County.

Phillips-Hill will serve as Vice Chair of the Senate Communications and Technology Committee, continuing her work to bring reliable, high-speed internet to southern York County and advancing cybersecurity best practices. She will also serve on the Senate Banking and Insurance, Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, State Government, and Appropriations committees.

She will continue to serve on the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority, which will be tasked with approving more than $1 billion in projects this year to connect Pennsylvanians to high-speed internet access. She will also continue to chair the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee, a bicameral research agency tasked with finding efficiencies and cost savings within state government. Additionally, Phillips-Hill will serve on the Legislative Data Processing Center, a bicameral service agency that provides all online-related services of the General Assembly to the public.

“From ensuring government transparency and protecting consumers to promoting economic growth and careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars, I look forward to working with my colleagues to make our communities and Commonwealth stronger,” Phillips-Hill said. “I am honored to serve on these committees, which provide an opportunity to tackle the issues that matter most to our neighbors.”

These committee assignments are in addition to her leadership role as Majority Caucus Chair, where she helps guide legislative discussions and advance the Senate’s agenda.

The Senate reconvenes on Monday, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m.
