WHAT:
Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) will host a record-breaking 178 local high school students during her third annual student government seminar at Pennsylvania State Capitol. The event provides students from southern York County with a unique opportunity to engage in the legislative process and learn about state government firsthand.
During the event, students will take on the role of senators, debating and voting on mock legislation through a committee process and general session. This immersive experience allows young leaders to understand the lawmaking process while connecting with their peers and government officials.
