Basic Education Funding Commission Hearing on Thursday in Philadelphia

HARRISBURG – As co-chairs of the Basic Education Funding Commission, state Rep. Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, and Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill, R-York, today announced details of the commission’s third hearing:

WHEN: Thursday, September 14 at 2 p.m.

WHERE: Philadelphia School District Administration Building, School Board Room, 440 North Broad Street, Philadelphia

WHAT: Testimonies will include discussion of perspective of local superintendents and teachers and impact of trauma on learning. Hosted by Sen. Vincent Hughes, D-Philadelphia, and Rep. Mary Isaacson, D-Philadelphia, the agenda is:
