HARRISBURG – The Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) recently awarded Rep. Seth Grove (R-York) the 2022 Legislator of the Year Award and state Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) the Legislative Champion Award.
“Chairman Grove has devoted his career to ensuring every government program, from welfare and Medicaid to elections oversight, are transparent and free from impropriety, fraud, waste and abuse,” said Joe Horvath, state government affairs director for FGA. “Rep. Grove has made a reputation for himself as a straight-talking, hard-working pragmatist who frequently reaches across the aisle for the betterment of the Keystone State. Thanks to his efforts and willingness to engage with his colleagues, Pennsylvanians have stronger elections and will soon have stronger safety nets for the truly needy.”
“My No. 1 priority has always been serving my constituents to the best of my ability,” said Grove. “Safeguarding our tax dollars and ensuring free and fair elections are core functions of serving my constituents. I am grateful this work is recognized by a leading good government group like the Foundation for Government Accountability. I am especially proud to have been recognized alongside my fellow York countian Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill.”
Phillips-Hill received the FGA Legislative Champion Award.
