Senator Phillips-Hill discusses current and future of higher education in a post-COVID-19 world with Dr. Gunter-Smith of York College

YORK – Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) hosts a discussion with President Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith of York College as part of her ongoing series of podcast episodes focused on the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on various sectors across York County.

The podcast features a discussion on the college’s efforts to ensure student safety, both at the local campus as well as studying abroad, as well as how students are adjusting to remote learning and where higher education may be headed in a post-COVID-19 society.

“The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on every single industry in our county, including education,” Phillips-Hill said. “The conversation with President Gunter-Smith is very interesting not only for current and prospective students, but to our entire community knowing how this virus could reshape education as we know it today.”
