Phillips-Hill’s latest podcast focuses on industrial hemp in York County with Steve Groff of Groff North America

RED LION – In the latest edition of the “Kristin’s Corner” podcast, Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) sits down with Dr. Steve Groff, President and Founder of Groff North America, for a discussion on the past, present and future of industrial hemp in Pennsylvania.

“This growing industry is really in its infancy across the country,” Phillips-Hill said. “This podcast will give listeners the opportunity to hear more about this growing industry and its potential major impact for jobs and innovation in Red Lion.”

Dr. Groff is originally from Lancaster County and grew up on a dairy farm. He founded Groff North America in 2018 after a 20 year career as an orthopedic surgeon.

The discussion sheds light on how Groff came into the hemp industry and what it will mean for economic development and public benefits for York County residents.
