HARRISBURG – Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) was appointed to serve on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Infrastructure and Government Operations.
In this role, Phillips-Hill will serve alongside Chairman Gene Yaw and seven other senators.
“I am honored to be picked to serve on this subcommittee aimed at finding efficiencies and rooting out waste in state government,” Phillips-Hill said. “This subcommittee is a great opportunity for me to discuss various pieces of legislation that I’ve proposed in my first eight months in the Senate and how they can save valuable taxpayer dollars and streamline government.”
The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Infrastructure and Government Operations will look at the following state agencies: Executive Offices, Lieutenant Governor, Auditor General, Treasury, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Department of General Services, Department of Revenue, Department of State and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
