YORK – Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill’s (R-York) latest podcast episode features an in-depth interview with Mike Keiser, District 8 Executive for PennDOT. District 8 includes several southcentral Pennsylvania counties, including York County.
“With construction season getting into full swing along our highways, roads and bridges, it’s important to keep local residents updated on current projects as well as what the future holds for our infrastructure needs throughout York County,” Phillips-Hill said.
Keiser oversees District 8, which includes over 5,200 road miles and more than 3,400 bridges between 8 counties.
“Our half-hour conversation reviews the latest on the Mt. Rose Interchange debacle, the Exit 4/Shrewsbury Interchange, the upcoming highway widening project for Interstate 83, as well as a host of other transportation needs throughout the county,” she added. “Mike Keiser’s team is responsible for approximately the same amount of roadway that comprises the Maryland Department of Transportation. I’m exceedingly grateful for Mike and his team for their responsiveness to the concerns of the 28th Senatorial District.”
