YORK – Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) is establishing a podcast to expand her digital footprint in an effort to connect with more residents on state-related issues.
“Many local individuals and families have hectic work and home schedules that make it difficult to stay up-to-date on state government news,” Phillips-Hill said. “This format will allow community residents to get a quick update on state news whenever it is most convenient for them.”
Phillips-Hill’s podcast, titled “Kristin’s Corner,” will cover local and legislative issues affecting the 28th Senatorial District. She plans to offer a few updates a month, which will also be available on her website. Any updates will also be mentioned in her weekly email updates she sends to constituents who subscribe.
“Representing more than a quarter million residents is a privilege and I’m grateful to be able to connect with as many of them as possible through various platforms at no cost to the taxpayer,” she said. “I look forward to finding more creative ways to connect with the residents of York County.”
